Barcelona-born soprano Laura Gibert is an emerging lyric coloratura soprano recognised for her operatic and concert performances across Europe.
She is a graduate of the Royal Academy of Music in London and the Conservatori Superior del Liceu. Her recent engagements include her double role debut at the Saaremaa Opera Festival as Lauretta (Gianni Schicchi) and Adina (L’elisir d’amore) with the Fondazione Teatro Goldoni di Livorno, following her performance of Lucia (Lucia di Lammermoor) at the Apròpera Opera Studio. Other performed roles include Juliette (Roméo et Juliette), Anna (Nabucco), Pamina (Die Zauberflöte), Barbarina (Le nozze di Figaro), and Euridice (Orfeo ed Euridice).
She has also appeared in recital and concert repertoire at Wigmore Hall and the 100% Classique Festival in France.
